Hastoe Village Hall is situated in the quaint village of Hastoe near Tring, on the Hertfordshire/ Bedfordshire border.
The hall was built in 1898 and can be privately hired for events, parties and wedding receptions.
Kate and Richard chose to hold their wedding reception at Hastoe village hall not only due to its close proximity to the Church where they had chosen to get married. But also because of its blank canvas appeal and the opportunity for Kate who had a fantastic creative flair, to style the venue in a way she wanted.
The wedding ceremony took place at St John the Baptist Church in Aldbury. Close to Kate’s family home where she chose to get ready on the morning of her wedding.
St John the Baptist Church is a beautiful countryside Church just a stone’s throw away from The Greyhound Inn pub, where the Groomsmen and other wedding guests met prior to the ceremony to settle some pre-ceremony nerves over a pint.
Kate’s vision transformed Hastoe Village Hall into an elegant wedding reception, with personal touches such as homemade Limoncello and chilli jam. The outside area – in keeping with the country wedding feel had hay bales for seating and garden games.
