Hertfordshire wedding photographer Zoë Cooper

‘Zoë has been amazing from start to finish. She also made an impression on the three most important men in my life (my dad, Rich and Max) so she must be a winner! We would recommend Zoë to anyone. She is very professional, personable and quickly builds up a good rapport with everyone. Thank you so much. We are blown away by our wedding photos’

The View, formerly known as The Fairway Tavern, is a golf complex in Welwyn Garden City with a licensed function suite for weddings and events. In 2017 it was taken over by Tewin Bury Farm Hotel as an alternative to the very popular wedding venues located within Tewin Bury Farm.

Tewin Bury Farm is a great hotel option for couples who are getting married at The View because of the venues close proximity to each other. It is where Gemma spent her wedding morning getting ready with her family.

I love spending the morning capturing the chatter and excitement of the wedding party, as well as spending time photographing the gorgeous dresses and all-important details that couples have spent so much time and money on to make their wedding day perfect.

Gemma choice of décor transformed the function suit at The View. She thoughtfully included a Flower Wall which would provide us with a great backdrop for indoor photos if the weather had been against us. As it turned out this Spring day ended up being one of the hottest on record.

The decoration was carried through to the gardens and the Summer House, which is licensed for outdoor ceremonies, and where Gemma and Richard had chosen to say their wedding vows.

After some formal family photos, Gemma, Richard and I went off for some relaxed family pictures of the two of them with their children overlooking the Mimram Valley.

Then after dropping the children back we picked up the golf buggy and headed onto the fairway taking some photos of just the two of them having a little quality time together (with me lurking!) leaving their wedding guests munching doughnuts and playing garden games.

The views over the Panshanger golf fairway are beautiful and we were blessed after a long hot Spring day with a dazzling sunset. Sunsets fade as quickly as they arrive and Gemma & Richard were so flexible nipping out with me straight after their wedding breakfast to ensure we got the shot before the sun went down.

Thank you Gemma and Richard for having me as your wedding photographer.
