The Welwyn Garden City BID awards are designed by the Business Improvement District team to celebrate, recognise and promote great shopping, dining and customer service experiences in Welwyn Garden City town centre.

The businesses who make up the Welwyn Garden City BID organisation aim to improve and promote Welwyn Garden City town centre, and make it a great place for people to visit.

The awards are judged by mystery shoppers. And recognise the work of businesses to contribute towards the success of Welwyn Garden City town centre. With the added opportunity to nominate their own favourite businesses at the same time.

Welwyn Garden City businesses go to great efforts to ensure their customers keep returning. And in a time where internet shopping is influencing the success of the high street so much, this is so important. It was great to see so many passionate businesses wanting to keep the town centre alive with activity, and a place where shoppers want to visit.
