Event Photography in London

Hartley Voices is a collective of professional solo and ensemble operatic, musical theatre, and choral singers. I was thrilled to be contacted by them to  photograph an event concert  they were putting on in London.

They have performed at many high-profile events, including the Royal wedding, and are regularly commissioned with the BBC for various shows.

My brief was to capture the singers in performance for their professional profiles. As with any event photography that involves live performance and a packed theatre, I had to be careful not to obscure the audiences view or enjoyment of the show. Which meant photographing at a distance to make sure  I wasn’t a distraction.

The performances were every bit as spectacular as I anticipated it would be, it is just a shame these images don’t come with sound.
