SHENLEY CRICKET CLUB WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Shenley Cricket Club (www.londonshenleyclub.co.uk) is an active cricket club and wedding venue set in the village of Shenley, in Hertfordshire.
Couples have the choice of two wedding ceremony locations. Outside the main pavilion is very popular during the summer months. Or the cricket pavilions’ Long Room offers an alternative for the wetter or colder days. The long room is also used to host indoor drinks receptions.
Shenley Cricket Club have two different marquees for wedding receptions depending on the time of the year that you get married. A large summer marquee is used from May – September and has a capacity for up to 180 guests.
From October onwards, the heated winter marquee is used. It is slightly smaller, with a maximum capacity of 120 guests.
In the grounds of Shenley Cricket Club you have the lovely surrounding of Shenley Park, and the Walled Garden. This area of landscaped gardens, wild flowers, and woodlands is a great backdrop for photos. The Walled Garden is a short walk from the main pavilion. I always encourage couples to schedule some time to spend in the Walled Gardens for some informal photos away from the crowds.

Both the Summer and Winter marquees really are a blank canvass to bring your own décor and personality to the space. And with the sun shining the pavilion lawn is a fantastic space for ice creams, champagne, and garden games.
