Storm Amy was very much the uninvited guest to Reb Storm Amy was very much the uninvited guest to Rebecca & Michael’s wedding at @stalbanscathedral. And despite the 55 mile an hour winds we decided to take the keep calm & carry on approach & give the outdoor confetti throw a good go. They say there’s no such thing as bad weather just a bad choice of clothing. I don’t agree unless you are planing to turn up to a wedding wearing a dry robe. I am 100% for embracing the chaos on a wedding day, it’ll be a talking point for your guests & something you’ll always remember, especially when it comes to the one thing you really have no control over - the weather. Last Saturday Sophie & James surrounded themselves Last Saturday Sophie & James surrounded themselves with their family & friends & made it official at @sandonmanor In typical British summertime fashion the weather kept us on our toes & it meant they didn’t get the outdoor ceremony they had hoped for, & we all had to make a dash from the rain half way through their family photos - not that that phased them one bit. I am deep in wedding season now so posting to soci I am deep in wedding season now so posting to socials has taken a huge back seat. But I wanted to end this bright sunny week with a few more frames from the brightest most colourful wedding that shone utter happiness from start to finish. Not only are Lizzie & Cat creative geniuses making their own wedding outfits, crocheting all of the wedding favours & gifts & turning a village hall into an abundance of colour, creativity & love - but they also have an aura of joyful energy that just rubs off on anyone around them. Their wedding day was not about a fancy venue or a big show, every detail was personal, every moment special & you could feel it. So I think this is the perfect wedding to bookend a week of sunshine, & I hope their glow rubs off a little on everyone.
