Autumn weddings at the Riding School Wedding

When Hannah & Will booked me for their Autumn wedding at The Riding School, I was thrilled to find out I would also be back photographing at Hatfield House and one of my favourite churches too. St Ethaldreda’s Church in Old Hatfield.
St Ethaldredas Church is a beautiful historic and grand Church a stones throw from Hatfield House. It is perfect for couples wanting a religious Church ceremony with a reception at Hatfield House.
AUTUMN WEDDINGS AT HATFIELD HOUSE
Autumn is my favourite season for weddings. With golden colours all around, and long daylight hours which allow us photographers more time and opportunities to get outside with our couples.
We made the most of the Autumn sunshine throughout the wedding day with an Ale & Pimms reception in the courtyard of St Ethaldredas church after the ceremony. And then onto the stunning grounds of Hatfield House to continue with their reception.
The Riding School, Hatfield House
Hannah & Will’s wedding reception was held at The Riding School at Hatfield House. Hannah’s theme centered around her love of classic novels, with romantic floristry and trailing ivy. The interior beautifully reflected in the building’s glass.
The cake was almost upstaged by their amazing 6-tiered cheese wedding cake that even the most hardened arteries would have succumbed to during the evening buffet.
Fortunately, there was plenty of dancing to offset the cheese intake. As the reception drew to an end I left a packed dancefloor and headed outside one last time with Hannah & Will to the courtyard for their final closing shots.
