Summer Wedding at Hatfield House

Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer

Charlotte and Nick’s summer wedding at Hatfield House was classic glamour. The Groomsmen wore tails, Charlotte had a stunningly detailed wedding dress, and they chose a horse drawn carriage for their wedding transport.

Charlotte and Nick chose to host their wedding ceremony at St Ethaldreda’s Church which sits adjacent to Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.

Dating back to the 13th century, St Ethaldreada’s is steeped in history. With beautiful interior and a perfect choice for couples who wish to have a religious wedding service, with their wedding reception at Hatfield House.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to The Old Palace gardens for the drink’s reception. Whilst Charlotte and Nick took a little time alone to enjoy the beautiful grounds of Hatfield House in their horse drawn carriage.

They held their wedding day breakfast in The Old Palace’s Banqueting Hall. Once the room where Elizabeth 1st held Council of State meetings, and now one of the grandest buildings in Hertfordshire to hold your wedding reception.

Live bands are always guaranteed to kick off an evening reception and get the guests up dancing. I had a blast photographing the dancefloor.

Forget bouquets, every bride should have a tambourine.
