I was thrilled to be chosen by Kate and Richard for their Spring wedding in Tring Hertfordshire. Tring is a beautiful market town in Hertfordshire, close to the Bedfordshire border. It is home to the Natural History Museum. But it also has a gem of a little wedding venue for those looking for something a bit different.
The couple’s wedding ceremony was held at St John the Baptist Church in the quaint village of Aldbury, with their reception being held at Hastoe Village Hall.
TRING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN HERTFORDSHIRE
Built in 1898, Hastoe Village Hall is privately hired for events, parties and wedding receptions. Richard & Kate chose it for its close proximity to the Church, and for its ‘blank canvas’ appeal. Allowing Kates’s creative flair to turn Hastoe Village Hall into an elegant Spring wedding reception.
SPRING WEDDING DAY
Following a lovely morning with the girls, I met the groomsmen for a pre-ceremony pint (them, not me) at The Greyhound Inn pub.
With personal touches of homemade Limoncello, and chilli jam. Outside the hall the country wedding feel continued, with hay bales and garden games.
After the wedding breakfast a great set of speeches finished off brilliantly with a surprise video from guests. Then it was onto the traditional bouquet throw, which was caught by a somewhat shocked Bridesmaid.
HERTFORDSHIRE WEDDING DAY DETAILS
Guests (and props from the photo booth) hit the dancefloor to the fantastic band RHLive.
At the point that I left the dancefloor was still packed and I have a feeling it stayed that way until the end of the night.
