Sam & Verity’s Brook Farm Wedding was the epitome of countryside chic. Their styling for the wedding was perfect. With bold florals, an incredible TIPI from Country Tipis, with informal table settings, and rustic décor.

Verity spent her wedding morning with her bridesmaids at her family home in Hertfordshire. It was so much fun spending the morning with Verity’s family & best friends and photographing the glamour squad of hair & makeup in action. I love capturing the buzz of a wedding morning.

Verity’s stunning wedding dress from Lumi Bridal, had a mix of classic glamour and fine detailing, with a split perfect for the summer breeze that day.

(However – for full transparency, I say ‘breeze’ but using a little poetic license – It was windy – very windy! As Verity & Sam will testify. The Great British Summer never fails to keep us on our toes!)

Their wedding ceremony took place between the trees and overlooking the lake with a stunning floral stand by Willow & Blossom Floral Design adorning the end of the Aisle. A celebrant-led ceremony and personal vows furthermore added to the informal feel of the day. Following the ceremony, lakeside drinks and canapes kicked off the wedding reception.

Brook Farm is a family-owned wedding venue. Laura, the owner was on hand all day for Verity and Sam making sure everything was perfect for them. It is lovely to work alongside wedding venues that give their couples the personal touch.

Photo opportunities at Brook Farm Cuffley are incredible. And I always encourage a little time to take couples photos away from the guests. However, it is also important to me that wedding photos shouldn’t dominate your day (I know, odd saying this when I’m a wedding photographer!).

But, I love the balance of a few posed frames alongside documenting the majority of the day candidly, as it naturally unfolds. I like to blend in on your wedding day, capturing real laughter, and genuine moments. the end result is great, authentic photos.
