Wedding Celebration at The Old Palace
“You were so helpful and patient in the lead up and it was a pleasure to have you around on the day. We love them so much, thank you“
By the time Emma & Jaz’s multicultural wedding celebration at Hatfield House had arrived, they had already enjoyed two formal wedding days. Firstly, a traditional Hindu wedding, and secondly a traditional English wedding at Osborne House, on the Isle of Wight. So for this, their final wedding event, they wanted to encompass both of their cultures and heritage and have one huge celebration.
THE OLD PALACE
After already enjoying two traditional ceremonies, Emma & Jaz understandably wanted this celebration to be less formal. Their 300 guests were invited to a drinks reception in the gardens of The Old Palace. Following this was a three-course dinner in The Old Palace’s Banqueting Hall and an evening of partying.
MULTICULTURAL WEDDING at hatfield house
My brief was to document the informality of the day. Guests mingling, the array of colour, the laughter and the fun.
After the food and speeches, they cut their third (and final) wedding cake to kick off the evening reception. Their first dance was the only time that night the dancefloor had just two people on it.
HERTFORDSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
The dancefloor is my favourite part of a wedding to photograph. It is the point that all formalities are over and everyone gets to let loose. I, like many of their guests, did not want the party to end.
Thank you Emma & Jaz for having me as your photographer for this fantastic celebration of love.
